About Matthew Badine Owner & Operator, G.E.C Ltd. My name is Matthew Badine, a proud member of Fort Nelson First Nation and father to children from Doig River First Nation. I’m the owner and operator of G.E.C Ltd., where we bring skill, pride, and reliability to every job we take on. From a young age, I was drawn to the world of mechanics. That passion grew into a career spanning over 15 years across multiple industries. I hold my Red Seal certification as a Heavy Duty Mechanic, along with credentials as a Heavy Duty Technician and Oil & Gas Field Operator. Over the years, I’ve built a strong, trusted crew that works under my direction. Together, we tackle everything from heavy equipment repairs to oilfield support—always with a commitment to getting the job done right. My goal is simple: to deliver work that makes our clients happy. Because when they’re satisfied, I know I’ve done my job.
